Philanthropy

Goal:

As leaders, we go above and beyond the call of duty. For WURHA 2018 Philanthropy, we are giving back to a local community, The Chippewa Humane Association, and giving back to our state community, The Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  Behind many great leaders, and Olympians, there is a great pet and a place they call home. Now it is our turn to give back to our furry friends and our home. WURHA 2018 Philanthropy will proudly sponsor the Chippewa Humane Association and The Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Before WURHA 2018:

Until the start of WURHA 2018 we will be hosting a drive for the following supplies. We would love if each school could participate in the drive so that we as leaders can give back to two communities.

Donations for Chippewa Humane Association:

Please keep these guidelines in mind:

Please limit all items to be smaller than 18”X18”X18”.

All items must be new.

Items may not contain Latex.

Toys or games with religious or violent themes are not accepted.

If a donations requires batteries in order to operate, please include as part of your gift.

Please do not wrap gifts.

During WURHA 2018:

In the philanthropy session we will be making dog toys out of recyclable materials. Every delegate is asked to bring at least one t-shirt to donate for this endeavor. We will show delegates how to make braided dog toys out of the t-shirt.
